Community Task Education Program – CTEP
The Community Task Education Program was initiated after a poignant visit to the Ravi slums, where the foundation’s task force CTF, encountered a stark reality: out of numerous children, only one young girl was attending school. The foundation’s team met Uzma, a young girl whose determination to pursue education despite her challenging circumstances left a lasting impact on the team. In a community where she was the only child attending school, Uzma stood out. During an interview, when asked how far she wished to go in her education, Uzma’s response was both inspiring and thought-provoking:
I will get education till my mind is curious to ask questions
(Uzma)
Her words became the driving force behind the Foundation’s commitment to making education accessible to all. Her determination to pursue education despite her circumstances inspired the Foundation to take immediate action. This moment became the catalyst for a comprehensive educational initiative aimed at breaking the cycle of poverty through learning and skill development.
