Community Task Health Outreach Program – CTHOP
At Community Task we believe that access to quality healthcare is a fundamental right for every individual, regardless of their economic or social background. This belief drives us to continuously seek ways to uplift underserved communities, particularly in the areas of health and wellness. Our latest initiative, the “National Outreach Programآپکی صحت ہماری ذمہ داری,” is a testament to our commitment to this cause.
The Community Task Health Outreach Program was born out of necessity after a series of tragic events in Lahore’s Taxali Gate neighborhood. Our team – community task force (CTF) has visited this densely populated area, home to families living in inadequate housing conditions, witnessed a severe crisis when a heavy rainstorm led to the collapse of several roofs. The incident resulted in multiple injuries and the loss of a community member, requiring the urgent need for accessible healthcare services in the area.
Recognizing the lack of basic health infrastructure and the community’s vulnerability to both physical and mental health challenges, the Community Task Foundation initiated the Health Outreach Program. This program is designed to provide comprehensive health support to the residents of Taxali Gate, focusing on areas where immediate intervention is critical, this program is structured around three key initiatives:
- Mental Health Awareness
- Nutrition (T-Fun Project)
- Free Medical Camps (Free-Dispensary Project)
Each initiative under this program addresses distinct health needs, contributing to the overall mission of empowering communities for a sustainable future.
